Pop has quite the reputation as a singer, picker, lasso twirler and downright funny guy. He appeared quite frequently on Public Radio's A Prairie Home Companion during the show's formative years and for the last quarter century he has worked his cowboy magic throughout 44 states and ten countries. His cowboy anthems crackle with the warmth of a prairie campfire and his old time fiddle tunes set toes a-tappin' while he serves up spellbinding rope tricks and tall stories -- all with a good dose of friendly humor.

This group is know regionally for their tight harmonies and sense of humor, so a show can go in many directions, but whatever happens, it's always fun.

Music:    Muddogs

The Mud Dogs got their start by winning the 1998 Minnesota State County Fair Talent Contest. They were a featured performer on the MN Grandstand stage in front of 15,000 people, and they've been performing to thousands of people ever since! This multi-talented five piece band specializes in a wide variety of music, playing hit songs from Buddy Holly, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Mellencamp, Roy Orbison, and Elvis Presley--just to name a few!

Peter Mayer writes songs for a small planet—songs about interconnectedness and the human journey; songs about the beauty and the mystery of the world. Whimsical, humorous, and profound, his music takes you up mountains, across oceans, into space, and back home again. A native of Minnesota with a background in Theology, Peter is not big on love songs, but prefers delving into science, nature, and things spiritual.

Tubby Esquire is a band from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota U.S.A. Their music is a blend of Polka, Pop, Rock and Country inspired by the music of performers such as Flaco Jimenez, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash to Spike Jones, Roger Miller, Pantera and the Jolly Fishermen. Tubby Esquire has been honored in 2000 & 2001 by winning the coveted Minnesota Music Awards for "Best Polka Band" and "Best Polka Recording" for their CD "The Return of the Last Castrato."
